‘The Other Cheek’ is a unqiue experiement in experiential and collaborative art. A group exhibition exploring and exploiting fair use as a means to exact revenge in a public forum, ‘The Other Cheek’ promises to be one of Los Angeles’ most unique and enduring shows of 2007.
Each artist is choosing to confront their own autobiographical ghosts in many formats: video, photography, performance, painting, collage, and sculpture.
What began as a forum for vengeance, the Other Cheek has quickly sublimated into a celebration. We will be disclosing some stories from the brave participants very shortly.
