Found celebrates the opening of neighbor Hyperion Lyric Theater’s new show, ‘Money & Run: An Action-Adventure Serial for the Stage’ with a month long series of pre-show parties.
The pre-show parties at Found will commence the opening weekend and will run every Friday and Saturday evening, 8:30-10:00pm from May 23 - June 28. Saturday, June 28 will be a combined pre-show party, and closing reception for Irene Kai’s What Do You See.

About Money & Run:
L.A. Theatergoers can enjoy a taste of live, late-night hilarity as the successful stage serial Money & Run settles in for an open-ended tenure starting May 23rd at the newly revamped Lyric Hyperion Theater Café in Silver Lake. Money & Run: An Action Adventure Serial for the Stage is to play Friday and Saturday nights at 10:30 pm in Silver Lake’s “hip new spot for arts and eats” at 2106 Hyperion Ave. The action-comedy series begins May 23 with Episode 1: Money, Take Run. In July, Episodes 2 and 3 are set to rotate into the schedule.
“I love that Money & Run has found an awesome home in a smart, artsy L.A. area not unlike the Seattle neighborhood where we first hit big,” said the show’s writer-director, Wayne Rawley. The series, a high-octane homage to ’80s-era action-adventure TV shows, has enjoyed cult status for a decade there as well as in Berkeley, transforming the television genre into a “gut busting, butt-rockin’, late-night theatre romp.” The Seattle Stranger raved, “While you may think you have more entertaining things to do late Friday night, trust me.
