The World of Lastplak has arrived
The World of Lastplak opens tomorrow night, a body of work comprised of around 40 paintings and drawings, a handful of screen prints, handmade Ox-Alien pillows, and two walls of photographs.
3 members of the collective have made their first their first voyage to the West Coast and have been installing, painting, and exploring since we have been in town. On Wednesday, we met up with mutual friend The London Police [out of Amsterdam], who’s curating and participating in a show a Scion which opens next Saturday, entitled ‘Big Geezers.’
A collaboration mural is in the works; we’re not sure where yet.
Anyway, the exhibition by Lastplak opens tomorrow evening, 6-9pm and beyond. More photos, etc. soon. Until then, learn more:
