Lyla Rose / S.O.S. / Moving Pictures
S.O.S., Ms. Rose’s special exhibition at Found in August as we celebrated 2 years of operating like a possessed audio-visual-collaborative loom, was an epic collection of minutia, collage, and context. The reach and detail of the work was vast, as many guests were surprised at the fact that one artist created the work and installed it in such a short period. I wish those same guests could have seen the artist and progress and all of the work, ephemera, sprockets and materials that didn’t make the cut.
