its not hard
Check out this open call from the Directors Lab in London [note, the entire message is [sic]]:
its not hard
A new publication that aims to create connections and crossovers between visual art and performance and opens up a critical discourse of Live Art in the context of a contemporary art landscape.
It doesn’t want to suggest answers, nor be a survey of work, but instead gather together broad conversations and threads of discourse.
Part of this publication is to support emergent practitioners in a “new workers/projects” section and are currently looking for submissions of ‘projects’ by new practitioners, students and emerging artists in the field.
Please submit a proposal of unrealized/unrealizeable projects of NO MORE THAN 300 words. these could be projects that you are planning to do, have done, or are impossible to do and can only exist as an idea. The best of these proposals will be published in June, and two will be selected for presentation at an event in June that accompanies the launch of the book.
Please note, submissions due Feb 28th, 2008, and those that do not adhere to the word limit will not be considered.
Visits www.itsnothard.eu for more information.
UPDATE: Apparently, the limit is now 250 words. Better start trimming.
UPDATE 2: Rumor has it that some of our very own have been chosen… Read all the details.
