Conquistador to play ‘the Other Cheek’
Conquistador, spearheaded by the omni-smiling Mr. Alex Antebi (photo below) and other Found friend Jason Marcus (you may remember Jason’s acoustic strumming at the 9 Tiny Hums musical closing of Micro Gestalt, will be performing live at the reception for ‘The Other Cheek’ on June 15. The local 5 piece boasts remixes & performances with Kinky and opened for Ghostface at SXSW last year.
“Conquistador luxuriates prolific-dance-floor-debonair-disco inciting people to move their feet all across the Continental U.S..” said a Boston Tribuner. The old new has arrived; it’s f.d.a approved and here for your listening pleasure. Time Out described Conquistador a.k.a Alex Antebi as “candy-land-strip-mall-jet-set-executive-super-soul-seventies.”
Conquistador will be jamming in between a surprise DJ sandwich, to be revealed at a later date.
